If you are interested in unlocking the secrets of colour and how it can make you look and feel fabulous, then this session is for you!  Our natural colouring is identified through our hair colour, eye colour and skin tone.  Wearing the colours which complement our natural colouring brings our natural colouring to life and makes our unique beauty stand out.  When we wear colours which conflict with our natural colouring, we can look tired and flat.  Knowing your best palette can give you confidence to wear colour and once you start, there will be no stopping you!!  In this session, Pauline Jones - a CMB consultant, will be demonstrating this and explaining how to identify your best colours.  Whether you’re looking to update your look or know how to create a capsule wardrobe, this will be an informative and fun session.  We hope you’ll join us!

As it is the New Year we’re looking forward to the future and all making resolutions which we hope we can stick to. With this in mind, and our theme of paying it forward, we’ve tailored this months meeting around reflecting on our learning from 2009 and setting our own personal and group goals for 2010, we’re going to get rid of the old and bring in some new in the form of a clothes swap.
We’re all going to bring in some item of clothing or accessories that we no longer want and put them into a ‘heap’, in doing this we’re not only getting rid of an old item but also casting off something (a habit/idea) that no longer serves us. We’re then going to select something new from the ‘heap’ and with it a new goal, a new way of being or something new we are going to take on this coming year.

Learn a couple of simple techniques to make your own unique piece of jewellery. All materials provided, just bring along your creativity and imagination and be amazed at what you will go home wearing. I wonder - will it be a necklace, earrings or a bracelet? All materials and tools needed to design your own jewellery will be provided in pre-made packs at a small cost of approximately £1 - £2 depending on what you use.

In this inspirational event you will learn about the power of the mind and understand the full weight behind the saying ‘out of very small acorns, giant oak trees grow’.  You will have the privilege of hearing the remarkable and phenomenal story of the conception, inception and now national growth of this amazing Children’s Centre for books.  You will experience first hand what inspired each of these ladies and how situational leadership and complementary skills creates success.

We are now all familiar with the simple concept of the law of attraction: positive thoughts attract good things into our lives and negative thoughts invite negative experiences.  Millions of books have been published on this subject and everyone is talking about it, but tonight we will answer the question on everyone’s lips:  does the law of attraction really work?
